Our pups and goats both have updates this week! our pups recieved thair first shots earlier this week and have been getting lots of interest. 1 has a deposit already! They were also dewormed and will get one more dose before they go home with thair new familys. They have all been upgraded to using the dog door and are going potty outside! Should make potty training easier for thair familys. All are happy and playful. the most confident of the bunch is the girl followed by boy 2! Boy 1 seems to love the other animals and people cuddles but is a little calmer and quiter. Boy 4 is right in the middle. Loud and playful at times but is just as happy to get cuddles and chill. Boy 4 is needing a bit of a cofidence boost and were working on him with that. hes the kind to drag his heels at any new experience and will need lots of socialization.

The gpats are finaly in my name! Well the girls are! The boys registrations are still pending and thair profiles and pedigrees will be updated when available. Both Cookie and Willlow have thair full pedigrees and ADGA pages available. As well as thair dam, sire, granddams, and any aunts or siblings with titles or milk stars. we plan to show our does and bucks and milk test our does in the spring. We are expecting kids from the CookiexThor pairing in late February and the WillowxLoki Pairing about three weeks later in mid March. We will be doing Blood tests through Sage Labs. We Have the results for our latest litter! Its as we suspected, Dad is not pure chihuahua. He is a chihuahua maltese mix. We were surprised to find out that mom is part poodle though! It doesnt show at all on her, but since she is such a small percentage thats not surprising. We plan on keeping her in our lines regardless as the small percentage of poodle she has makes her not shed and hypoalergenic! Thats deffinatly somthing we want in our lines! We will of course be upfront on all our puppys from her being part poodle. We believe these puppys will be a beautiful addition to any home that decides to adopt them. We will not be using dad to stud agian, as we said previousley poppy and her litter were an unexpected addition to our program. But we are happy to have them. Any puppys coming from poppy from now on will be sired by 100% chihuahuas only, to insure that any puppys produced will be 90% or more chihuahua with just that little bit of poodle for the no shed and hypoalergenic qualitys.

Embark says we should get results early october. Well its october so where are they? We ordered these tests for our latest litter from PoppyxPappy because we are unsure of Pappys breeding. we dont use studs we are unsure of but we did not own Poppy until after she was already bred. a friend reached out to us after she rescued her from a family that was keeping her locked up in a dirty cage all day. she did not realize that she was in heat when she took her home and wa-la! She was worried she wouldnt be able to handle her care while pregnant and didnt plan on a dog so she reached out to us to ask if we could take her. We of course said yes! Shes too cute to pass up, and we have the time and experience to handle a pregnant chihuahua. She got vet checked and loved on until she had her little bundles! Now we are waiting on DNA to see if our friends fluffy butt dog is pure chihuahua or mixed. either way these pups are cute! And we will make sure that they all get great homes.

We are just getting started on this so dont mind the mess.
