Miss Lilly has gone into heat! we had a very successful heat and are expecting some F1b Goldendoodles from her and dobby around latejune early july. Supposed due date is independance day! We will know in a few weeks for sure though.

Also introducing Luna! Dont let her looks fool you. She is a Merle! Her coat type is termed Hidden Merle and she is Jessies half sister!

We have new goats and said goodbye to a few too. Introducing Grover,Professor X, Buttercup, Blossum, And Bubbles! The Three Bs are all boys by the way, but we couldnt resist. they are mini nubians to our surprise though. We were expecting nigerians! But this stuff happens when you buy a already bred doe. Grover was gifted to us from a very nice young lady who wasnt ready for the responsibility of goat ownership (and the noise). He is blue eyed and moonspotted! he will be available for stud like all our bucks when he is of age. Professor X is a new addition also, He is a pure white blue eyed buck and is he loud when he is hungry! Last bit of news is that Willow has gone to another farm to help start thair adga herd! with her went Nemo, Grovers brother!

We have a new page up! We decided to add a page for our other critters here on the mini-farm. So we added our bunnys, chickens, and quail! If you are looking for one of those check them out under Other Animals.

We have Pumpkind DNA results back and we are a go for Breeding! He is cleared and cute! We expect some adorable short haired and long haired merle puppys from him and jessie in our next litter!

On to the puppys, All three of the puppys of our current litter have a deposit paid! Boy they went quick! They have all been named under a theme this time too! Jeules, (pronounced Jewels) Opal, and Pearl! Wasnt expecting that but it just kind of worked out that way. All pups are growing up great and Aunt Lilly is wanting to play mommy already lol! She spends her days laying by thair kennel and popping up every time they come to the bars. she cant wait to be a mommy herself!

We also wanted to give a big Shoutout to French Fry Frenchys! We have partnered with thair program and are helping to whelp and puppy raise thair litters too! We also offer the same boarding deals for thair programs puppys as we do our own at just $10 a day per dog! Julian has most of his dogs in guardian Homes and we hope to learn a lot from him and his program! Right now we have Cardi at our home recovering from her c-cection with her four beautiful puppys! She is being a superstar mom for us and is making our lives easy! Most frenchys are hard to rear because of having to have c-cections. Moms have a hard time understanding that the puppies are thairs and the hormones can be weaker because of it. They also have a harder time cleaning the pups because of the short nose. But Cardi is doing it all with no help! Like we said, shes a Superstar!

We have puppies! Jessie and James did it agian, and on Valentine's day! All girls too! We have two confirmed merles in this litter, a chocolate, and a cream. We will start taking deposits at two weeks old so let us know if you are interested to be added to our call list! 

Still no goat kids but we're getting close! Ms.cookie is bagging up and doing a lot of pawing at the ground the last few days so you goat savvy people know what that means!

We also have some sad news. We believe our girl Lilly has sadly aborted her litter. She had a lot of trouble with nausea and we finally got an enzyme supplament from the vet that seem to be helping a bunch but her due date has come and gone with no signs of puppies. We are planning on another ultrasound to confirm. It's sad but it does happen sometimes that way. She's healthy and happy though so that's all that matters.

 February is gonna be a crazy month here at Bartelt Breeders! We are expecting our girls Lilly, Jessie , and Cookie to all give birth between the 8th and the 19th! thats a lot of babies! but we got everyone ultrasounded so we know how many they are having! Cookie (Goat) is expecting 2! Jessie (chihuahua) is expecting 2-4! And Lilly (Standard Poodle) is expecting a whopping 7-13! Wow! We are currently making a list of interested buyers so we can inform people when pups are born and they can make thair picks and reservations! We decided to do somthing new with lillys litter and are currently searching for 2 Guardian homes! if you are interested in getting a great dog at no cost from us contact us about being one of our guardian homes for this litter! Lots happening in the next few weeks! We have two litters of puppys coming right on top of each other and some goat kids too! Our long awaited litter for Jessie-James 4-5 puppies are due the 9th. Lilly-Cash 7-10 puppies are suppose to be due the 6th but we think she's going to end up going second or last. We don't know the exact date on her breeding so it's hard to pin down with her. She's not showing much though so I'm guessing somewhere around the 12th-15th but we will see. Our goat pairing Cookie-Thor is due the 15th with two! This will be cookie and Lilly's first birth so we are keeping an eye on them both. All have been ultrasounded but the count is a general count by the tech so we might get a surprise!
